weekly squeeze: fun workout idea
Still trucking along to get healthy and fit for that big event? Getting tired of the same old workout routine? Try mixing it up a bit by registering for a run/walk in your area. I am by no means a runner but I LOVE 5k’s. The roar of the crowd in the streets, hundreds of people all joined together running like crazy people…what’s not fun about that?! A friend of mine convinced me to sign-up for my first race a few years ago and I am so thankful! Here are a few upcoming races in the Baltimore area that you should check out.
- Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis – Sunday, December 11th at DuBurns Arena, Baltimore — Best part of this race is that you can join our team (lemon & lime event design) and run with us!
- New Year’s Day Resolution Run/Walk – Sunday, January 2nd at Patterson Park, Baltimore
- St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock 5K – Sunday, March 11th at Power Plant Live, Baltimore
Not only will the race provide for a fun afternoon but it will also kick your workout/training in gear. Sign-up with a friend and go for it!
