At lemon & lime we work with clients with all types of budgets, from as much DIY as possible to bringing in multiple vendors for the big day. From handmade cookies as favors to elaborate monogrammed ones bought from fancy bakeries, we love working with whatever budget the couple has.
Over the last few years, DIY has taken over as the new wedding trend and we see all sorts of ideas on wedding blogs and of course Pinterest. We love this “trend” and we’ve been able to see how creative couples really are as they put a true personal touch on their weddings.
We do think its important to point out though, that if you want to go all out for your wedding… then you shouldn’t be ashamed of that. Yes, it’s only one day, the flowers will die soon after and some of your friends may be “over served” at 5 p.m…but if you want to go all out for your wedding, then that is your decision. It’s your day! Hopefully this is the only wedding you’ll have… so if you want to spend a pretty penny on it, then you shouldn’t feel bad for avoiding the DIY craze.
