No unity candle? No problem!
I stumbled upon this rising trend and just had to share. I’ve seen couples pour sand in jars at their wedding (instead of a unity candle) but this has a bit of a twist. Instead of pouring into a jar, use a shadow box with a photo of the couple. Traditionally, family/mother’s of the bride and groom light candles to symbolize the coming together of the two families, keep them a part of this by giving them each a colored sand representing their family (like shown in the photo). It’s a great keepsake of your special day!
