lemon and lime event design hits up the 2012 Timonium Bridal Expo
If you follow us on twitter or Facebook then you probably saw all of our updates this weekend from Maryland Wedding Professionals Association’s 2012 Timonium Bridal Expo. It was lemon & lime’s first expo appearance and we really don’t think it could have gone any better! We met some very excited brides and grooms along with some amazing vendors that we can’t wait to work with. Don’t even get me started on all the cake we got to try!
Katey and I took a lot of time trying to figure out how we wanted to lay out the booth space (a quaint 10′ x 10′) and give a good representation of what we’re all about while also sticking to a budget. After trips to Target, Walmart, Micheals and Ikea we were ready to go. We knew we wanted to be bright and fun to grab the attention of the crowd walking through and I think we definitely achieved that! Check out our before and after photos…
Our before shot…a naked 10′ x 10′ space
AFTER! All of the expo linens were donated by our friends at Gala Cloths. They have a HUGE showroom with thousands of choices, we had a fun afternoon trying out different linen fabrics and colors a few weeks ago.
Our signage was one of my favorite pieces of the display. Katey and I wanted to do something different than the typical vinyl banner. She did a great job putting it together!
We had two side tables and chairs to set the booth up almost like a living room. We wanted everyone to feel comfortable and welcomed into the space.
And then there’s the floral…didn’t you know we doubled as florists?! Green and yellow are great colors to play around with.
Candy wins everyone over, especially the grooms. Needless to say, we gave out a lot of lemon heads!
We even raffled off one of our favorite stella & dot pieces (the Petra bracelet) as an added bonus to guests. We’ll be announcing the winner later this week!
