11.11.11… just how many will say I do?
For happy couples that want to have an interesting wedding date, not too many can get better/luckier/easier to remember than 11.11.11 (7.7.7 would be a close second though)! As the date is coming up this Friday, many are projecting over 75,000 couples will say “I do” on Friday which is up 50% from the average number of weddings each weekend.
We find it very important to also recognize that this is Veteran’s Day so we all need to make sure to thank our veteran’s in some way this Friday!
As if we didn’t guess that Vegas would be doing something crazy for this, event planner Tiffany Masters plans to hold the largest wedding reception ever for couples who flock to Vegas to get married on this day. The Tropicana will be the place to go for couples who want to dance the night away after their 11.11.11 ceremony.
How important is the date in your planning process? Would you completely alter your plans for a special date? Unfortunately after 12 years of fun, next year’s 12.12.12 will be the last of its kind. It’s on a Wednesday though, so unless you’re looking for a mid-week nuptial, it seems 7.7.7 and 11.11.11 will be two of the biggest wedding days of the last decade.
