wedding spotlight: shauna + andy dutcher
Happy Anniversary to Shauna and Andy Dutcher!! Since their wedding back in 2007, their family has grown to four with the adorable additions of Brody and Gemma.
Shauna and Andy got married in Hudson, Ohio and the reception took place at Shauna’s house. A house/backyard reception is a great option for couples and nothing can make your guests feel more comfortable and at home, then actually being in a home
It helps that Shauna’s mom, Jean, has amazing taste and their home was already fit for a party (which she passed on to all three of her daughters who all have great taste!). They dressed up the house a bit for a wedding, added a tent, and brought in decorations to make it reception ready! They even had a photo wall of pictures of the bride and groom from birth until their big day. The end result was warm, loving, inviting and overall just lovely.
Since Shauna saw “Father of the Bride” she knew she wanted her wedding to be like Annie Bank’s, and in my opinion her’s beat out the movie
To this day (18 weddings later) it was the most warm and loving recpetion I’ve ever been to.
If you’re looking for a more intimate venue, or if you want to save on a expensive venue fees and use those expenses for another part of your day, consider having your wedding reception at someone’s house.
Even if you think you could never have a wedding at your house, just give lemon and lime event design a call… we’ll be able to transform any area to be ready for a wedding reception!
Here is a picture from one of the couples favorite part’s of the evening. Happy, tired, but so in love! Happy anniversary you two!
