Dear Pinterest, I love you.
No introduction is good enough for this blog topic so I’m just going to go for it… PINTEREST IS AMAZING! If it were a person, it would be my best friend…OR…it would be the person that I hated because I was beyond jealous of all it’s awesomeness. If you are sitting and reading this post and asking yourself, “what the heck is pinterest?!” I advise you to finish reading this award winning post and then go directly to the website and sign up. In fear that I cannot explain exactly what Pinterest is I have pasted the site’s definition below:
Pinterest is a virtual pinboard. Pinterest allows you to organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. You can browse pinboards created by other people to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests.
People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and share their favorite recipes.
Basically whenever you see an image on the web that you like and want to save you can click a “pin” button and it magically shoots over to your Pinterest page. This is beyond amazing because now all of these great things are stored in one place thus eliminating all of the random copying/pasting and saving on your computer to never be found again, at least that’s what happens to me. It also let’s you steal, I mean share, other people’s ideas aka “pins,” and build your network of coolness.
But in all seriousness, Pinterest is a great resource for anyone looking for new recipes, ideas for party decor, travel ideas, you name it. I love logging on every day to get my creative juices flowing! I never leave the site disappointed, I always seem to find a fun new event idea for decor, floral, etc. If you are ever looking to be inspired I highly recommend checking it out.
