I had just started a job so I didn’t have time to plan my best friends baby shower. I was working on a smaller budget, but still wanted a special party for my friend. lemon & lime went above and beyond helping me research cost-efficient ways to throw a great shower, but not spend hundreds of dollars.
Their creative ideas allowed even the simplest details to put a special touch on the shower. We made sailboats out of hard-boiled eggs, had veggie cups instead of a veggie plate, and painted nautical-themed onesies (instead of shower games that my friend was not a fan of). The guests really enjoyed the creativity and the mom-to-be had a great time!

Working with lemon & lime has helped keep me sane. I am a very organized person, but weddings are overwhelming and I knew I needed some backup to make sure everything went smoothly and more importantly, so I actually got to enjoy my day. Ashley & Katey’s level of communication during the process has been great to help keep me on track and remind me of various tasks that needed completed and when.
They kept up with my progress in DIY projects and offered ideas and solutions to ideas I was having trouble with. For instance, they contacted me with a cool idea to make my flowers into small bouquets with smaller water bags so at the end of the night guests could take them as they left and they wouldn’t go to waste. At our initial meeting, I expressed concern for all of the left over flowers and they said they’d help find a solution. Overall, it was really nice that they seem to care about my wedding planning progress, even through I only hired them for day-of Coordination. Thanks lemon & lime!
