Frank and I spent all day Saturday doing our Christmas shopping followed by a fun evening at a holiday/housewarming party. Sure we were exhausted this morning, but that didn’t stop us from running in the Jingle Bell 5k with fellow lemon & lime owner Katey Clark and her boyfriend along with a few friends! It was a great way to start the morning…and beginning to get myself back into shape. ANYWAY…that leads me to today’s sunday funday post!
Today we are taking a bit of a breather. Our sunday funday celebration includes some couch time watching the Ravens/Colts game, a bit of cleaning, and decorating the house (finally!) for Christmas. Sure it would be fun to head downtown and attempt the “Purple Patio” but let’s face it…I’m not as young as I used to be (insert sarcastic laugh and semi frown face here). I’m super excited to get the decorations up though. I plan on blasting my Frank Sinatra CD, making some hot chocolate, and getting down to business. I may even light my “christmas cookie” candle but I don’t want to get too crazy.
But now that I’m thinking about it a little more, maybe I’ll venture out a bit on the hot cocoa. I found some delicious options from Our Best Bites that may make the cut for this evening’s activities. I think the chocolate hazelnut (below) with nutella is pretty much the front runner!
