sunday funday: DIY Easter activities
So, Easter is in a week (what?!?!) and if you are just realizing this like I am then you probably need to whip up some fun little decorations to acknowledge the holiday is here (hopefully you were smart enough to take down your Christmas decorations already!). Here are two of my favorite fun and simple crafts you can get busy on as part of your sunday funday. Thanks to the smart team at Country Living for the assistance!
Elegant Eggs – How pretty are these?! CL suggests removing the yolk (see full directions here) to make the eggs last for years to come but I would rather boil the egg (and save for egg salad later!), dye it, and then hot glue the fabric flowers as desired.
Bunny Cake – This is awesome! You can either purchase a plain cake from a store and cover it with bunny cookies or take the time to make your own cake/cookies. If you want to get really crazy, try switching the cookies our for Peeps! Take your pick!
