holidays, birthdays, oh my!
Do you have a kid with a holiday time birthday? Don’t let this crazy time of year take over your life, you can still get everything done and plan a stellar birthday party! No kid wants to feel like poor Samantha from “Sixteen Candles!” Having a December birthday myself I know how things can get a little hectic but I always had an amazing party. We’ve pulled together some great themes that are fun and simple!
North Pole/Winter Wonderland – This is an awesome idea (and my favorite!) because the decorations you’re putting up for the holidays can double as decorations for the birthday party! Not too shabby!
Color Splash- This idea is SO simple, bright, and fun…it’s all about color! Base the party decor and food off the colors of the rainbow. You can use food coloring to jazz up frosting on cupcakes, different candies (Party City sells M&Ms by the color in-store), and of course all the different colored fruits and vegetables.
Movie/Sleepover Party – You could go about this a few different ways. Each kid could get their own individually wrapped party pack OR you could set up a snack bar and they can make their own. You can even coordinate the treats with whatever movie you are showing.
