happy birthday maryland! we’re throwing you a party
Today is Maryland’s 378th Birthday!
If lemon & lime were to throw a birthday bash for the lovely state we’re founded in… here are some things we’d do:
Throw the party on the Black Eyed Susan that floats around the harbor!
When they board the boat, guests are handed Maryland theme goodie bag filled with all sorts of Maryland staples.. like utz chips and old bay! Probably ditch the banana and water below and add in berger cookies and natty boh!
These would also be great (but fragile) favors!
Guests will also be given a champange filled glass like the ones below…
Cleary being the home of the Ace of Cakes (Charm City Cakes)… the cake would have to be insanely amazing.
Black Eyed Susan’s (state flower) would also be used all over the inside of the boat. Something like below:
In addition to the cake we could also have some themed cupcakes. Under Armour is kind of a big deal around Baltimore.
These Natty Boh cupcakes (made with the beer) are perfect:
These cups would be great for beer too:
Orange Crush’s served with Raven’s umbrellas would be a must.
We’d definitely bring Get Pixlated on the boat with tons of Ravens and O’s props for a fun photobooth!
There are TONS of other things we could do but those are just some initial thoughts! Happy birthday Maryland!
