Welcome to 2012!
Happy New Year friends, we hope you all had a fabulous evening! So I have to ask…what are your resolutions? Each year I set out to make this one better than the last. As a kid I remember thinking I’ll just be nicer to my siblings, then I got older and it was all about getting back in shape. Ugh. I’m not sure which one is harder! Just kidding
Anyway, I want to make this year REALLY count and actually succeed with my resolutions but first I need to figure out what it’s going to be. Here’s what I’ve come up with so far…
Stay on track with a budget!
With the launch of lemon & lime just a few short months ago I’ve learned to keep a tighter grip on my personal wallet. Luckily enough Katey and I are really moving with all of our new and amazing clients so we’ve achieved a lot more than we both expected in such a short period of time. But still, leaving a full-time job to launch a company can really break the bank…if you let it. So my resolution here is to stay on track, keep budgeting our finances at home, and have a nice cash flow for 2012.
Get back in shape…again (and again, and again).
Really this one doesn’t need an explanation. The older I get, the harder it is for my body to bounce back to it’s glory days. NO MORE EXCUSES. And of course there’s the fact that I’m signed up to run a 10 mile race in April…good gracious.
Take some fashion risks.
Is that really a resolution? I have no idea. Basically, I’m the color that you always see wearing black and I don’t want to be that girl anymore. I’m a business owner now and need to look professional. I also spend most of my time planning weddings so I probably shouldn’t look like I’m going to a funeral everyday.
That’s where I’m at so far, not a bad start. How about you?!
