Thank you Jessica!!!!!

So we’re not going to lie, when we got an email several months ago from Jessica inquiring about internships, we had to laugh a little. We were just under six months old and we couldn’t believe someone wanted to move to dc/baltimore for the summer to work with us! Then we took a step back and realized what we did for a living and it all made sense

After a few phone calls and emails, it was determined that Jessica would join our team for the 2012 summer season. From weddings, corporate events, showers and birthday parties…. plus all the other ins and outs that come with running lemon & lime — social media, meetings, excel spread sheets, research, etc., we were VERY excited to have some extra hands on board.

Jessica was a vital addition to our team and to say she will be missed is an understatement! Her hard work throughout the summer, creative ideas and suggestions have really have helped lemon & lime grow in the few short months she was here. Ashley and I thought we knew all the ins and outs of blogging, social media, pinterest, etc….but we learned a ton!

It’s so great to see young people (she’s 10 years younger than me so I think I can say that.. ha sad), but it’s great to see young people, like Jessica, being so driven and excited for life. As an alumni of the sorority Alpha Xi Delta (what connected Jessica and lemon & lime!), I am so proud to know Jessica is representing our sorority in such an amazing way. Ashley and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Jessica and we know it will be something exciting and adventurous! Hopefully she remembers us when she’s big time in NYC
